Under Vehicle Lift (UVL)
The BraunAbility Under Vehicle Lift is a platform lift mounted beneath the vehicle in a weathertight enclosure, completely hidden from view until deployed. When activated, the UVL lowers a full-size platform from beneath the van to ground level, accepts the wheelchair, and raises it to the vehicle floor — all while preserving the original doorway height and interior headroom.
The UVL supports up to 750 lbs with platform options measuring 31 inches wide and 48 or 53 inches long. The weathertight housing protects the lift mechanism from road spray, debris, and the elements when stowed. An electric roll stop and VA acceptance confirm the UVL meets the highest safety and accessibility standards.
The under-vehicle mounting means no interior space is consumed by lift components. The doorway remains at its original height with no platform to step over, and the vehicle's exterior appearance is unchanged.
