MPS Electronic Hand Controls
MPS Electronic Hand Controls combine electronic acceleration with mechanical braking, delivering the best of both technologies in one system. The electronic throttle provides smooth, infinitely variable speed control — especially advantageous in modern drive-by-wire vehicles where electronic integration produces the most seamless acceleration response.
The mechanical braking component maintains the direct physical linkage between the hand control and the vehicle's brake system that drivers depend on for safe stopping. Unlike fully electronic systems, the mechanical brake linkage continues to function even during electrical failures.
Electronic hand controls are the recommended choice for newer vehicles equipped with electronic throttle control (drive-by-wire), where mechanical throttle linkage is not possible. Custom Mobility installs MPS Electronic Hand Controls with proper electronic integration and safety verification.
