KlearVue
The Ricon/VMI KlearVue features a unique fold-in-half platform design that folds horizontally rather than vertically when stowed. This eliminates the driver blind spot created by traditional vertically-folding platform lifts, providing an unobstructed window view and improved safety. The KlearVue is virtually unseen from outside the vehicle when stowed.
The KlearVue supports 800 to 1,000 lbs — one of the highest capacities in the Ricon lineup. The fold-in-half design also means no raised roof is required, keeping the vehicle's original exterior profile intact. Pre-lubricated bearings minimize maintenance requirements and ensure quiet, smooth operation.
For fleet operators and families alike, the KlearVue solves a common complaint about platform lifts: the large, visible platform panel that blocks the side window when stowed. By folding the platform in half at the midpoint, the KlearVue reduces the stowed height by 50%, keeping the window largely clear.
