Mobility Equipment Service & Repair
Custom Mobility's showroom and service center in Athens, Georgia provides complete service, repair, and maintenance for mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, lift recliners, walkers, rollators, hospital beds, and durable medical equipment from all major manufacturers.
Walk into our showroom anytime for a free battery check or a free initial equipment assessment. We'll evaluate your equipment, explain what's going on in plain English, and give you a written quote before any work begins. No appointment needed for assessments — just bring it in.
We service equipment we sold and equipment we didn't. If parts are available and the equipment is repairable, we'll fix it. Most shops only work on what they sell. We work on what you need — Pride, Golden Technologies, Journey, Vive, Drive Medical, Invacare, Permobil, ComfyGo, EV Rider, and every other major brand.
Our labor rate is $95 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Parts are quoted separately and approved before we order. All new equipment purchased from Custom Mobility includes free service for the first year — if something goes wrong, bring it in at no charge.
Can't bring your equipment to us? We offer pickup and delivery starting at $25 for the first 10 minutes from our showroom, plus $2 per minute thereafter. New product purchases include free white-glove delivery within 20 minutes of our showroom, with $2 per additional minute beyond that radius.
For assisted living and independent living facilities, we provide free group preventive maintenance clinics, diagnostics, and tune-ups on-site at your facility. Contact us to schedule a group service visit for your residents' equipment.
Have old equipment you no longer need? We accept used scooters, power wheelchairs, lift recliners, hospital beds, and walkers at no cost to you — drop them off at our showroom or we'll pick them up. For qualifying equipment in good condition, we offer a buy-back program with a fair offer on the spot. We are also an official drop-off site for FODAC (Friends of Disabled Adults and Children), so your donated equipment goes directly to someone who needs it.
