BraunAbility Transfer Seat

The BraunAbility Transfer Seat rotates the driver or front passenger seat to face the vehicle center, creating a direct path for wheelchair-to-seat transfers. What makes the Transfer Seat unique is that it retains all factory seat features — lumbar support, tilt adjustment, seat heating, leather upholstery — because it uses the original seat on a modified base.

For wheelchair users who transfer from their wheelchair into the vehicle seat, the Transfer Seat eliminates the awkward pivot motion required with a forward-facing seat. The rotated position faces the open door, allowing a straight-line lateral transfer from wheelchair to seat. Once seated, the seat rotates back to the standard forward-facing position.
