The Harmar AL500 Universal Powerchair Lift is the world's most popular outside platform lift for power wheelchairs. Designed to carry virtually all power wheelchairs without modifications, the AL500 features a 26-inch by 39-inch platform with four self-tensioning, quick-release retracting straps that secure your chair automatically during transit.
With a 350 lb weight capacity and fully powered operation, the AL500 makes loading and unloading a power wheelchair a simple, one-person task. Drive your chair onto the platform, engage the hold-down straps, and press the button to raise the lift. The entire process takes about 60 seconds.
The AL500 weighs 75 lbs and requires a Class II or Class III hitch receiver. It connects to your vehicle's 12-volt battery for reliable, consistent power. The universal platform design works with front-wheel, mid-wheel, and rear-wheel drive power wheelchairs from all major manufacturers.
