Transfer seat bases are designed to give wheelchair users the opportunity to travel safely and comfortably in the vehicle seat. The six way seat base makes for an easy transfer from your wheelchair. It allows the user to position himself or herself (forward, back; up, down; left, right) for transfers and then for travel. The B and D Independence Transfer Seat Bases use the existing vehicle seat as long as the base is compatible with the vehicle.
